My sister found this baby snail shell in my grandma's yard in Hawai'i, laying on the lawn as if presented by Mother Nature herself.
My fascination with shells began with a quiet moment from my childhood collecting snail shells in the backyard. I wanted to honor those small moments in nature that we've experienced as kids. Like little shells, they are remnants of the past that we can cherish.
The shell earring measures about 0.5" across. It seems like the tiniest of the shell collection but it's actually quite a solid piece of silver. In order to make a mould from the shell, I filled the shell with melted wax to close up the opening.
Available in solid 14kt gold by request.
